Event Details

The 2nd Annual BOMA Calgary Charity Hockey Tournament powered by Surety Cleaning brings together leaders and teams from Calgary’s commercial real estate industry for an exciting day of hockey, networking, and giving back to the commercial real estate community.

This is a fun, non-contact tournament with all skill levels welcomed! You can enter as an individual, or a full team. If you plan to register a group, we will endeavor to ensure they are all on the same team. 

Each team is guaranteed 3 games, with the two top teams after the round robin playing for the Championship. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all players throughout the day.

Women welcomed to participate! Separate change room facilities to be provided.

Tournament Rules

1. All games will be 3 periods of 12-minute run time with 2 min rest between periods.

2. Round Robin Format - each team plays each other once with a minimum of three games each.

3. All games will be officiated by referee’s following standard rules of the game.

4. Top two teams play for the championships based on points at the end of the round robin.

a. 2 points for win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.

5. Play to have fun!

Tiebreaker Rules (if necessary)

If teams are tied based on points at the end of the round-robin, the following tiebreaker rule will be applied:

1. Goal difference (goals scored minus goals allowed). The team with the most goals will win the tie breaker and proceed to championship game.
